1. Introduction

Design N Technology Prints ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company") is committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and data stewardship. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, use, and protection of information obtained through your interaction with our website and digital properties, referred to collectively as the "Platform".

The Platform is designed with a minimal data collection philosophy. Personal data is collected only where strictly necessary for the operation of specific Platform features and is handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, you should discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

The only instance of direct personal data collection on the Platform occurs when a visitor voluntarily submits an email address to access pricing information. We collect the following information in this context:

  • Your email address, which you submit voluntarily via the pricing access feature. We use this to deliver the requested information and to facilitate potential business enquiries.

Our contact page displays our contact email address for visitors who wish to reach us directly. We do not present any form on this page and collect no personal data through it.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, our systems automatically receive and record certain technical and session-level information as a standard function of internet communication. This includes the following:

  • Network identifiers, including your IP address
  • Device and browser configuration data, including browser type, version, and operating system
  • Session and navigation data, including pages visited, time on page, and referring source
  • Cookie and similar technology data, as further described in our Cookies Policy

This information is received passively and is not used to build individual profiles. It is used only for the security, performance, and integrity of the Platform.

2.3 Platform Integrity and Content Authentication Data

To protect the intellectual property displayed on the Platform and to enforce our Terms of Use, we employ proprietary content protection mechanisms across designated areas. In connection with the delivery of protected content, our systems may associate and retain certain technical signals with your session. These signals derive from information described in Section 2.2 and are processed using proprietary methods. They serve solely for content integrity verification and the detection, investigation, and attribution of unauthorised reproduction or distribution of protected materials.

This data is processed under our legitimate interests in protecting intellectual property and is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to content security and rights enforcement. The specific technical implementation of these mechanisms is proprietary commercial information and is not disclosed further in this Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To deliver pricing information to visitors who have submitted their email address via the designated access feature
  • To facilitate follow-up business communications where a visitor has expressed interest in our services
  • To maintain the security, stability, and performance of the Platform
  • To protect our intellectual property rights and investigate suspected violations
  • To detect and respond to security incidents or unauthorised access
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable under data protection legislation, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate Interests. The operation and security of the Platform and the protection of our intellectual property, where such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights.
  • Consent. Where you voluntarily submit your email address to access pricing information, your submission constitutes consent to the processing of that data for the stated purpose.
  • Legal Obligation. Where processing is required to comply with applicable law or a lawful regulatory request.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable law:

  • Email addresses collected via the pricing access feature. Retained for up to 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are securely deleted unless an active business relationship has been established.
  • Automatically collected session and technical data. Retained for up to 12 months, subject to anonymisation where appropriate.
  • Content integrity signals. Retained for the duration necessary to investigate and enforce against suspected intellectual property violations, which may extend beyond standard session retention periods.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. Disclosure of personal data is limited to the following circumstances:

  • Technology and infrastructure service providers engaged to operate and maintain the Platform, subject to appropriate contractual data protection obligations
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, where disclosure is required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory process
  • In connection with the investigation or enforcement of our intellectual property rights, including the production of evidence in legal proceedings

7. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection and form integrity verification. This service operates in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review independently.

The Platform does not currently integrate third-party advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or commercial analytics platforms that process personal data for their own purposes.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures are reviewed on an ongoing basis in line with the nature of the data held and current security standards.

No method of data transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure. We encourage you to exercise appropriate caution when submitting information online.

9. Cookie Management

You may manage your cookie preferences through the consent interface available on the Platform or by configuring your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of Platform features. Full details of the cookies we use are set out in our Cookies Policy.

10. Age Restrictions

The Platform is a professional service directed exclusively at individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by a person under that age, we will take prompt steps to delete it from our records.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United Kingdom and process personal data primarily in accordance with UK data protection law. Where personal data is transferred to service providers operating outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable legislation, including the use of standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal obligations, or the structure of the Platform. Where changes are material, the updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
